A transmittal document is simply a version of ‘Hi Boss, here is that report you requested.’ It’s simple the delivery message attached to a document. This is a simple straightforward communication; however, be sure to add information that builds goodwill and perhaps intrigue. Do not deliver content.
There are several versions. Study each, then make your own decisions. Do NOT just copy as there are mistakes in the examples too. Use your own creativity and authenticity as that’s what employers want – your ability to follow directions AND your creativity too.
