Have a little fun as your learn to better understand your emotional understanding and then regulation.

The purpose of this exercise is to increase your emotional awareness – in raising your understanding, you’ll better select your words thus bettering your communication and relationships.

Here’s what to do:

1.  Print out the worksheet.
2.  Choose a schedule.  Choose a day and a time to circle your feelings in that moment.  For instance, On Wednesday, at the top of every hour, you’ll notice what you are feeling, circle it and write the time.

As you will see, your emotions are constantly moving and are a powerful instigator of your decisions and communication.
